Rides start and end in Piazza Beccaria.
Florence South
21 km around southern part of the city (with great panoramas), inside Cascine park and in
center along the river.
Florence South 2
Alternative version of previous itinerary, a bit longer and a bit steeper, but including
some pieaces of real contryside, just a few km otuside of city center.
Impruneta ring
A 34 km ride in Chianti.
Terzano - Incontro
A 30 km ride that raises to altitude of 550m at Incontro Monastry; a place at South-Est of
Florence with a great panorama; there is 1 km of white-road and also some hard climbs...
Giro 96
This ride includes the climb from Le Sieci to L'Alberaccio, which was a GPM (Grand prix of
Mountain) of Giro d'Italia 1996. The ride is 37 km long, the climb is 500m high.
Fiesole-Monteloro
The second ride (after "giro 96") on the Nothern side of Arno. Fiesole is one of
the most classic climbs. Trafic is quite heavy, but tolerable. After Fiesole the road is
not so steep and trafic mostly reduced. Monteloro valley is really a quite place.

From Siena to
Florence
Many people asked more infos regarding the route from Siena to Florence. Here it is. The
route I suggest is the one trough Chianti. It is not the flattest route, but it is the
shorter, the more spectacoular, and trafic should not be so heavy. There is no
description: just look at the signs on the road (Castellina, Greve, Firenze).
